Future Educators of America
In May in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week the Kadena High School Chapter of Future Educators of America hosted an Educator's Bistro. The students wanted to honor teachers throughout the district with an Italian stle dinner and to have a round table discussion where teachers who attended shared words of wisdom to these aspiring educators. The evening was kicked off by the Pacific Area Director Ms. Diana Ohman as she shared he own words of encouragement to the students and appreciation to to teachers for touching and changing the lives of the students they teach.
These students have worked hard this year in participating in community projects such as the Walk for Education and the Kadena Air Base Special Olympics. They have also contributed to the local Japanese community as well. These students are not only educated by their teachers but inspired to follow in their footsteps.
